Eitan Kleiner
Eitan Kleiner is a master blacksmith who has specialized in iron furniture for more than a decade. His work combines Old World blacksmithing integrity with a contemporary design edge to create pieces that fuse the expressive with the functional.
Kleiner's mirror designs are inspired by elusive moments of reflection, both of soul and of space. The artist captures these moments in iron and glass, forging the metal into soft and sensual forms. The magic of these mirrors is in their suggestive gestures, hinting at a story that is yet to be told. From the first drawn line to the design of specialized tools, (the artist must often invent new tools to help him execute his ideas) to the creation of the three-dimensional master model, Kleiner's vision is constantly emerging.
