"I see and imagine a world of hybrid forms that suggest nature and chance occurrence --weirdly beautiful, and strangely accentuated. "
Karen Kunc is known for her large-scale color relief prints in which she incorporates influences from her rural environment, daily experience, and extensive travel.
When the artist creates prints, she seeks to make discoveries and allow spontaneous decisions to evolve in the layers and sequences of printed color.
The pieces represented here are vitreographs created at the Littleton Studio.
