Traveling as a child and young adult with her mobile family taught Tanya Hoggard that life across the globe comes in many forms. She captures this firsthand with black-and-white photography that breaks down language barriers and presents animate objects in the midst of everyday life.
With an emphasis on both third world countries and subjects in Europe, Hoggard's work traverses time and space. She believes strongly in her own intuition and shoots what she finds remarkable, no matter its significance.
