"In the spirit of the Regionalists, I harvest my inspiration from what I know, my home, my street, my town. I often delve into a vast archive of memories to provide a comfortable yet multifaceted framework for my work."

Digital images and a touch of humor are used as a guide in the creation of an abstracted essence that represents a moment in time. These abstractions provide visual simplification diminishing the subject's importance as an identifiable object and in turn allow for personal interpretation.
