"My work deals with creating harmony, in the balance of form and color."

Michael Trimpol's work explores the nature of the glass. He feels a particular love for glass in its molten state, and he channels that love into the creation of objects of beauty and originality; vases, perfume bottles, and more.

Michael works with glass using traditional techniques, gathering and blowing the molten glass until each piece achieves the balance and harmony he is striving for. He often incorporates processes such as cold working, sandblasting and/or cutting and polishing in order to accentuate or focus on characteristics of the material.

Super product, but......
The Michael Tripol glass paperweight is beautiful. The workman ship is superior and the art is signed by the artist (a real classy plus). My disappointment is in the color displayed and named on the website. It is TOTALLY different than shown or stated. The description and picture portrayed "seafoam" green. I received "emerald" green. The recipient of my gift HATES "emerald". If I could do it over, I would still buy the art...just choose the other color. The ArtfulHome site was overall an easy experience.
