Michael Cohn and Molly Stone

Cohn-Stone Studios is the work place of artists Michael Cohn and Molly Stone. They formed their partnership in 1980 and since that time have collaboratively developed their Studio lines, as well as their individual artistic careers. The Studio work is a perfect example of the sum of two distinctly individual insights--their work rings true to their ability to combine uniquely individual design directives, complementing one another and creating a compelling and unique body of work that would not be possible otherwise.

Both Michael and Molly are committed not only to designing unique and distinctive works of art, but also to the hands on process of making the pieces. They share a love for the material as well as a commitment to produce pieces of the highest quality. Their Studio is one of the nation's foremost producers of award winning designer vases, decorative art pieces and one-of-a-kind works of art. Their work has been exhibited throughout the U.S.A., Canada, Europe, Scandinavia, Australia, Japan, and South America. Their works are included in numerous museum, corporate, and private collections worldwide.

NESTING EGGS UNTIL FLIGHT
This is one of the most delightful and energetic pieces of art glass that we have collected in a long time. We have quite a few of Cohn-Stone pieces in our home, and this creation shines and stands out as if lit from underneath our glass table; it's magical, breathtaking, and we are standing by in anticipation of the mother blue bird to fly in any moment to sit on her eggs to await for the "cracking" and arrival of her newborns! "Jack in the Beanstock," eat your heart out!
