Mike Wallace

"I have always found the color of glass and the way it uses light to be remarkable. There's also something amazing about imagining art and transforming it into a finished piece. Each piece feels like a member of the family."

Mike Wallace studied glass blowing at the Corning Museum of Glass and then at the Toledo Museum of Art where he completed several years of independent study. In 2001 he began to pursue glass art as a full-time career. Currently he works out of his own studio which, as part of a series of "back in time" attractions, also includes blacksmith and carpentry shops.

Amazing in sunlight

We put this beautiful sculpture on our reading table which gets great morning light . . . it comes alive and looks different as the light changes. Really beautiful fun piece.
