Luscious pink bodied sculpture kissed with crimson dots, with a ruby flower. Blown vessel with high sheen is decorated with glass cane. The bold black and white filigrana "flower stamen" is removable. Each piece is unique; shape will vary slightly from image shown. Limited edition of 100. Signed and dated on bottom.

Bob Kliss and Laurie Kliss

"We consider ourselves colorists first and foremost, and are endlessly intrigued by the ability of glass to convey pure colors."

Bob and Laurie Kliss create sculptural glass objects with a playful use of color, form, texture and shape.

Bob assembles the colors and shapes for the base of each drawing and fuses the base with secondary color elements. He then blows the vessel, continually heating and re-heating the piece up to temperatures of 1000 degrees. He melts and fuses the glass, working with it until it reaches its final desired shape. He then applies brightly colored lip wrap to the vessel?s rim, which completes the piece. After cooling, he signs and dates each piece.

Beautiful and Sweet!
I love this piece! It sits atop a dresser in my bedroom and adds beautiful color as well as design. It's whimsical and sort of romantic and I love looking at it!

A Wonderful Piece of Art Glass
I have admired Kliszewski glass pieces for some time and finally bought one. I really love the piece. It is lovely and I am truly enjoying it.
