kiln carving, casting, torchworking, and sandblasting. A strong advocate for technology
in the creative process, Altman uses computer-
controlled heating cycles to achieve the precise texture finishes he desires.
Altman's art career spans 30 years and encompasses a variety of experiences, throughout which two things have remained constant. One is his innovation and creative use of technology and materials to create his works.
