"My work deals with creating harmony, in the balance of form and color."

Michael Trimpol's work explores the nature of the glass. He feels a particular love for glass in its molten state, and he channels that love into the creation of objects of beauty and originality; vases, perfume bottles, and more.

Michael works with glass using traditional techniques, gathering and blowing the molten glass until each piece achieves the balance and harmony he is striving for. He often incorporates processes such as cold working, sandblasting and/or cutting and polishing in order to accentuate or focus on characteristics of the material.

Killer beautiful vase!
Our dinner plates are cobalt blue, as is the lighting over our dining table, so I had been looking for a low vase that would work with the color scheme and hold flowers low on the table, so we could have conversation across the table during meals. This is it! SO beautiful! I am displaying it on the buffet as a piece of art when we're not having dinner parties.[...]
