"Sunset Wave Bowl"

Art Glass Vessel & Steel Stand

Blown glass platter in gold topaz, coral and amethyst, with a stand torch-cut and hand-forged from steel and powder coated. The stand has felt pads on the areas where the glass rests. Platter and stand sold together; platter also sold individually. Each stand is custom-made to fit each glass platter; stand is not sold individually. Dimensions refer to set displayed as shown. Platter is 22" diameter and 6" deep. Platter is part of the artist's "Point Break" series and is signed and dated on bottom. Each glass piece is unique: exact dimensions, shape and color blending will vary.

Rick and Janet Nicholson pride themselves on accomplishing the kind of excitement and risk-taking only found in an experimental glass-blowing studio. They've dedicated themselves to constant innovation and creativity. Continually searching out new forms of freehand expression within their studio. Experimenting with various combinations of form and function to arrive at the most enticing and original designs possible.

Their newest series of work combines blown glass and metalwork to create distinctly refined sculptural display stands. They welcome the challenge of combining metal with glass and are looking forward to the evolution of this series.
