"If you are looking for stillness or time out of time or a place to rest your eyes or something to pull you out of or into yourself, please look at one of my photographs."

Vicki Reed's goal is to create an image that can transport her viewers to the moment in time when the photograph was made. Hopefully, they can feel the dampness of the fog or hear the muffled sound of children's voices. What she enjoys most about creating her handcolored images is that she doesn't need to rely on color film to tell her what she saw - she has the freedom to rely on the image and mood that was recorded in her memory.

Beautiful photograph!
I love the composition of this black-and-white photograph; the image is so lyrical. Just had it double-matted and framed, and it looks stunning. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!
