Each highly textured, individualized ceramic bowl created at Zpots Studio begins with a beautiful chocolate clay body. Artists Noelle Van Hendrick and Eric Hendrick hand-throw each piece, decorate it with slip to create a textured one-of-a-kind surface, and employ wax resist methods to create deep varied surfaces.

The artists view each Zpot as a unique individual that is part of a family. The glaze colors of earth, forest, and water remain consistent, but the spontaneous line drawings that decorate each piece will vary.



A ZPots Studio goal is working toward a renewable future, and with this in mind, the electric kilns in the Zpot Studio are powered by Vermont Cow Power, with electricity generated by the surrounding Vermont farms.

Stunning
Rather then buy a gift from the standard registry, our office opted to buy this wonderful piece of artwork. This can be passed from generation to generation as part of their family

Great Gift for Loved Ones!
I love this beautiful bowl. I purchased it for my brother and his wife as they are both artists and I knew they would love it : ) My only concern is that the writing that makes this so special (on the inside of the bowl) is raised by the thickness of the paint and unglazed, so may wear or chip away with washings. We will see! Nevertheless, LOVELY!

Perfect present for a great gal
[...]It was a gift to a daughter-in-law who really likes it. It is centered on her dining room table. Can't thinkof a thing not great about it.

At the Heart of a Home
This bowl is absolutely superb - beautifully inscribed and artfully done. It says exactly what my wife and I believe - that our home is the center of our joint lives. We have it placed in the middle of our dining room table - so we see it, and its reminder of the centrality of our home in our life, numerous times as we pass through that room each day. When we sit down to eat, the bowl is there as one more reminder of the role that our home plays in shaping our individual and family lives. A wonderful item!
