Equisymbrium

Ceramic relief wall tiles formed by carving a dissolvable mold from silt, casting clay within, and excavating several days later. Glazed with colored clays. Suitable for either interior or exterior installation. The assemblage is comprised of 12 tiles. Each tile measures 12in x 12in x 2in. Each tile can be hung on the wall with a simple hook or nail, similar to that used for hanging framed artwork. A simple diagram is included for appropriate placement of entire assemblage.

Outdoor Care:
This piece can be displayed outdoors year-round in all climates and temperatures. For permanent display, the artist recommends using construction adhesives rather than traditional grouting due to the varied relief surface of the piece.
