George Diebold
"I see everything as a potential still image, put on earth for my examination. Whether or not it holds my interest long enough to become a photograph is another story. If it does, I'll go to any length to realize my vision."
George Diebold sees his photography split into two worlds-the studio and the road. His love of control indoors is only equaled by his excitement traveling and not knowing what's around the next bend. Diebold's work is synonymous with bold color, dramatic shapes, and meticulous composition and attention to detail. His fascination with Hawaii, the American West and man-made objects define his style.
George Diebold depends on his ability to interpret what he sees and translate that vision to paper. His archival giclee fine art prints are reproduced from George's original digital or film masters. Although George now works primarily with digital equipment, he will occasionally shoot film for a particular project. His image library also contains large format originals which are drum scanned.
George Diebold has been a photographer for over thirty years. Originally educated as a still life painter, George is a graduate of both Regis and Kean Universities, with degrees in fine art and photography as well as interior design. Since 1978 when he opened his first studio, George has worked for hundreds of global clients.
