Capturing this elegant Great White Egret dressed in spring breeding plumes was such a special moment in the Florida Ding Darling Preserve.
Moore used an old fashioned technique of burning to darken the background which heightens the drama of the detailed white feathers. She is one of the artist's most popular prints and is now part of the decor of the elite Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo. Companion piece is titled Nesting Dispute.
