Jeff Crandall is amazed at the extremes that we go to protect ourselves. His glass sculptures express this amazement with acid-etching that creates a fine, satiny sheen that resists fingerprints.

A Poetic Piece!
Every purchase I have made from The Artful Home has been a lovely addition to our home. Beautiful and Elegant
I decided to order this product after receiving an email that said all sales would benefit relief efforts in Japan. Am so glad that i did - it's really a wonderful piece. II have it on display with other articles and it is very stunning and distinctive. The etching is very well done, though you have to get rather up close to the piece to tell what is written on it. It's a fun but thoughtful piece that i would recommend to anyone who wants a beautiful visual reminder to keep hope alive and well in the world.

Exactly as described
Beautiful sandblasted finish contrasts very well with the etching. I am using it in the family room bar area on top of a black granite surface. Great conversational piece that everyone asks about. To me personally, is an excellent reminder of how artists can provide beauty to a home and help others during difficult times.

The Hope bottle is great!
I bought the bottle because I had a prompting I would soon be "needing" it for someone who would need that message. Just yesterday I found out that a friend who had a mastectomy about 4 years ago has just found out the cancer has returned and they will never be able to get it all. I like the profound simplicity of the bottle and the message. The service was great as well.

Beautiful!
This beautiful bottle sits on a shelf and for all those who admire it, I give the reason why I bought it. All the proceeds went to Japan. A place, at the moment, that needs all the hope and help we can give.

Joining my collection
This is my third Poet's Bottle. I was thrilled to purchase this to help aid those in need in Japan. It is a beautiful shade of aquamarine and it's message should not be taken for granted. We made a second purchase of this bottle to send to friends who are dealing with a serious illness. It seemed a lovely offering to send and we hope it will continue to inspire them. I've given other Poet's Bottles as gifts and they have always been well received. Thank you to the artist and Artful Home for collaborating and creating a means for all to contribute to the plight in Japan.

just the right touch
I bought this for my best friend for her birthday and who had just been diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer. No card or "regular" gift seemed right until I found this. Perfect. Conveys the sentiment in an understated way and on a bottle that is understated but visually appealing. It was fairly priced and the shipment was easy. I had bought another bottle earlier in the year for her daughter who had just turned 18 ("Dreams" on cobalt blue bottle).
