14K gold pendant with faceted aquamarine 1.75ct 8mm center and 12 spires.Each group of 3 spires is hand woven with 14K white gold and 14K green gold wire. Embellishing the ends of the spires are eight bezel set 2.5mm round blue faceted sapphires .54ct. TW and four bezel set 3.0mm round faceted grossular garnets .48ct. TW. Bale accepts light, medium or heavy weight chain and up to a 10mm omega collar/neckwire. Chain sold separately

About this Artist

Marie Scarpa

"I am happiest when I am working with my hands."

Marie Scarpa began making jewelry in high school. After earning a BFA in metalsmithing from Syracuse University, she honed her skills working with several San Francisco Bay Area designer jewelers.

Using cast silver and gold needlepoint canvas and fine-gauge wire, Scarpa weaves tiny tapestries embellished with brightly colored gems, beads, and pearls. The unconventional combination of fiber and jewelry techniques lends her work its distinctive look.
