Modern, clean and minimalist, are fitting words to describe the dually simple and complex designs of Patricia Madeja. Incorporating geometric, architectural and abstract sculptural influences, she creates jewelry that is artistic and innovative while it remains comfortable and practical to wear.

Creating pieces that incorporate movement through multiple units and intricate linking systems, Madeja draws sketches and then constructs models from sheet metal and wire of what she affectionately calls her "small abstract sculptures." While some designs are carefully planned and evolve through time, others erupt spontaneously from the artist's mind to take on their unique and intricate shape.

Fun and Functionality
The sterling silver and black pearl Tambourine ring was a 50th birthday gift for my girlfriend. I was thrilled to find this item in Artful Home catalog because she had expressed a desire to own a real tambourine, just for the fun of it. Her husband researched the aquisition of a Stevie Nicks' tambourine on line, finding it was cost prohibitive. So when I saw this unique and gorgeous ring, I had to purchase it! This was THE special gift I was looking for. I knew she'd be thrilled when she opened the box. It is beautifully crafted and the pearls are the perfect size for the ring and nicely uniform in color and shade. I have made past purchases from Artful Home and have consistently been pleased with everything. The best part is being able to purchase authentic art pieces in one convenient marketplace. I whole heartedly recommend Artful Home.

The Perfect Gift
I agonized for weeks on what to get my fiancee. There were many wonderful options at Artful Home which made making the decision that much more difficult. I wasn't sure of her taste in jewelry which can range from funky to sophisticated, quirky to traditional. After asking several women friends for their opinions I went with my instincts and bought the Tambourine Ring with black pearls. Exactly what I wanted!

Patricia Madeja's artistry is stunning
I have gifted my wife original artisan jewelry since we were married, 43 years ago. I add one or two unique pieces a year to her collection. Each one is distinctive and has personal meaning. I believe she actually enjoys them as I notice she wears one or two on special occasions. Over the years, I have never given more than a single selection from an artist, with one exception. This is the third piece by Patricia Madeja. Her designs and artisanship create extraordinarily subtle elegance. Need I say more????I would also like to complement Artful Home on your taste [...].
