Calling her look American Whimsy, Giselle Shepatin loves designing clothing that combines unique textiles and yarns from around the world with her own handmade textiles and embellishments.

Shepatin often incorporates yarn and fabric from past collections into the current year's art clothing. She reinterprets, reassembles, and cultivates her resources to create clothing that makes the wearer feel the spontaneous energy through the cloth.

Customers have occasionally said that they have seen Shepatin's clothing in their dreams. They thought it was a fantasy, and were so excited to see that their dreams had become a waking reality.

Perfect for my tiny self
I have never spent anywhere near this much on a piece of clothing. I am not a fancy dresser, either, but I wanted something special for the holidays and after reading the reviews, I decided I would splurge. I have a very small frame and an even smaller chest, so finding tops that are flattering is a big challenge for me. This fits so nice and is fun and different. Although I feel special wearing it, is is not uncomfortable at all (the fabric is soft, feels like something I could wear every day, etc.). I LOVE this shirt!!! I also NEVER buy things that require dry-cleaning. I probably shouldn't risk it, but I THINK I did throw it in the laundry (in a garment bag) on gentle cycle last year?!- but NOT advising this! Excited to wear it again!!!

I love this top!
I purchased this shirt right before Thanksgiving, and wore it to our holiday dinner. I was complimented on it all evening. I can dress it up or down. It is one of my favorite pieces of clothing!

Not as body -skimming as I wanted!
This is a beautiful top. However, it did not fit me well; too short in the back as I am long waisted. Also it ran very large. I ordered a small, but the extra small would have been too baggy also.

Great Conversation Piece!
I looked and looked at this for months before finally purchasing it. I hesitate to buy clothing without trying on first but the size and fit turned out to be perfect. The first time I wore it was to an "artsy" museum benefit and I paired it with a simple black skirt and got rave reviews! I'm hoping that the artist will make this top in other colors! Purple would be my first choice......

Fabulous!!!
Fabulous!!! I debated for 2 weeks on whether to order this, and then had anxiety while waiting for it. Thought for sure I would have to return it. I'm not the "fashionista" type, but was hoping for the best on the fit. The sizing (6-8 small) was true to size. I'm a short 5'3" and I cannot believe how wonderful I look in this top, and with blue jeans no less. Don't hesitate to order top; it is worth every penny. The fabric is wonderful, and the workmanship is amazing.

Awesome, unique top
This shirt far exceeded my expectations. The photos are great, but the actual shirt is amazing. The fabric is soft and sensuous--like my best pima cotton pajamas. But the fit and look is perfect for an evening out. The fit is generous, but not baggy. It compliments my new figure perfectly.

The quality, the fabric, everything about the top is just special! [...] I have had so many compliments! Just could not be better. If your on the fence about this one, trust me, you will not be disappointed.

IT'S LOVELY
I AM WEARING THIS TOP ON VACATION....IT IS JUST AS PRETTY ON AS IN THE PICTURE.....MY ONLY THOUGHTS ARE THAT IT WAS QUITE PRICEY AND THEREFORE I CAN'T AFFORD TO BUY AS MUCH AS I WOULD LIKE TO...PERHAPS SOME KIND OF INCENTIVE WOULD HELP THE PRICE BURDEN SUZETTE

I love this blouse great quality and beautifully crafted. It makes a great statementI do wish that there were ribbon loops sewn in so that it stays on the hanger.

Very lovely and flattering!
This is a stretchy breathable shirt with lovely detailing on the shoulder and neck. It stretches well for full-busted women, but is still small enough around the neck and shoulders. The design gives a great waist and is slimming. It is not a real tunic length, but it is long enough. For women who would like to minimize hips, this is also a great top. I'd say the XXL fits me more like an XL shirt with many more benefits!
