Completely hand-forged flatware is made from 304 stainless steel handles. The color of the handles is a result of a heat patina from the forging. The artists use Argentium sterling (tarnish resistant) silver spoons and forks. The knife blade is polished stainless. Hand wash recommended. If placed in the dishwasher, the silver will lose its polish and turn a dull gray. Dimensions based on the dinner fork.
