Graceful eucalyptus leaves and their pods inspired this sculpture. This sculpture is of hand brushed stainless steel, grade no. 304, 3/8" thick. The design is laser cut. It has been passivated for maximum corrosion resistance and waxed with a high quality sculpture wax. This piece is suitable for indoor or outdoor locations. The panels float off the wall 1" creating multiple shadows. Maintenance recommendations are included for exterior locations.

About this Artist

Marsh Scott

Working in paint, metal, stone, and photography, Marsh Scott creates abstractions and contemporary works that are rich in intriguing textures. Repetition and order result in balance and harmony.

Fresco is one of the newest "old" mediums that Marsh is now using to create the textured surfaces of richly colored paintings.

Marsh Scott began her work in multiple mediums while receiving a BS at Penn State in art education. Her specialization in ceramics, fiber and jewelry was the beginning of her love of surface, texture and process. A Masters in Art at Cal State Long Beach added research in ethnic crafts and their patterns and textures. Architecture classes at the University of California at Irvine became the starting point for her ordered spatial and 2D design.
