Floor lamp with large gold blown glass and red blown glass, copper pole and inlaid base. Wide rimmed coolie shade with covered with dupioni embroidered in a floral design with mustard, red and rose colors. Two bulb socket. Beaded pulls and finial.

Susan Kinzig and Caryn Kinzig

''Traditional lighting with a twist-as we design each lamp our goal is to create beautiful and distinctive lighting that will endure the test of time."

After seven years as a graphic designer, Susan Kinzig began a career as a jewelry designer. Fifteen years later, her knowledge of jewelry design and metalworking had grown extensively, and she decided to expand her creative outlook to include lighting design. Caryn Kinzig, Susan's sister-in-law, had spent 20 years in an investment career when she decided to leave the corporate world and follow her creative passion. Susan and Caryn teamed up to form Kinzig Design Home.

Susan and Caryn work together to create each of their lamps. They incorporate proprietary elements with vibrant glass ( blown by two glass studios) and solid brass and copper accents. The lampshades are deeply colored and sewn from embroidered silks and rich fabrics. The lamps are individually finished with patinated metals and surface textures that will not fade or discolor, and are topped with distinctive finials.

Beautiful Lamp
I purchased two lamps, Freddy and Daniele. They are both wonderful and colorful. Freddy has a softer color shade than Daniele but is equally as beautiful when lit. I have an oriental dining room and it accents it very well. I would highly reccomend this lamp.

Freddy is absolutely stunning!
Our 1920s home was professionally decorated by one of the very very best decorators in our city. He did however leave one corner of our dining room in need of something special. We realized the need to fill the corner for years, but could come up with nothing until our Artful Home catalog arrived. Freddy appeared on the page and we looked at each other and simultaneously said "That's it!" We anxiously awaited its arrival and set it up immediately. It is a piece of art that is simply stunning. Can't wait to entertain friends for dinner. We appreciate its loving and careful shipping packaging as well. Not hard to tell that this piece was made by true artisans. Thank you Artful Home!
