This is a hand-dyed silk chiffon vest. The asymmetrical cut allows for versatility and fluid drape over the body.

The Tortoise Shell resist dye pattern is a result of the process known as Itajimi Shibori. Solid black silk fabric is accordion pleated, board clamped and bleached in a discharge solution. Wash off and additional colors are layered in to the fabric to create a subtle depth in a traditionally Japanese pattern.

Dry clean for best results.

Each vest is individually hand dyed. Please allow for subtle changes in color, hue, and pattern placement.

Garment length in front (measurement taken from the highest point on the shoulder to the hem): 50''
Garment length in back (measurement taken from the center back of the garment neckline to the hem): 30''

Perfect for the Auction
Love the fit - even better on me (a woman who is endowed on top) than I expected. Colors are crisp. Great with flowing pants, but also with leggings.
