Silver frames holding faceted semi-precious beads radiate from a central 18 carat bimetal centerpiece. Beads include iolite, amethyst, green amethyst, peridot, tourmaline, citrine, and garnet. Signed on back.

About this Artist

Ashka Dymel

"My background is in structure, geometry, modular designs, and architecture. Jewelry-making provides me with instant gratification and a sense of creative freedom."

After many years of working monochromatically, Ashka Dymel began using color.

She designs these new pieces as if she is a painter creating impressionistic compositions.

Using translucent semi-precious gems, Dymel creates miniature paintings, with each gemstone bead like a drop of luminous paint held in place by a threaded silver wire.
