Sterling silver with faceted semiprecious beads: garnet and tourmaline. Each bead is held by thin silver wire balled up on both sides. Earrings are on sterling silver ear wires.

After many years of working monochromatically, Ashka Dymel began using color.

She designs these new pieces as if she is a painter creating impressionistic compositions.

Using translucent semi-precious gems, Dymel creates miniature paintings, with each gemstone bead like a drop of luminous paint held in place by a threaded silver wire.
