Inverted dome ring filled with sparkling semi-precious beads held by silver wires. Beads include aquamarine, iolite, green amethyst, peridot, and tourmaline.

About this Artist

Ashka Dymel

"My background is in structure, geometry, modular designs, and architecture. Jewelry-making provides me with instant gratification and a sense of creative freedom."

After many years of working monochromatically, Ashka Dymel began using color.

She designs these new pieces as if she is a painter creating impressionistic compositions.

Using translucent semi-precious gems, Dymel creates miniature paintings, with each gemstone bead like a drop of luminous paint held in place by a threaded silver wire.
