"Taking my inspiration from traditional Native American cultures, I see my raven-crows as messengers who are able to travel and communicate freely between the physical and spritual realms."

Mark Orr is a lifelong artist and wood carver as well as a collector of vintage artifacts. Drawing inspiration from cultural history, Orr carves raven-crows to represent their historic role as messengers between realities and the couriers of change. Combining his carved raven-crows and the symbolic objects that humans seem compelled to collect, Mark Orr unites the message and the messenger.

Key to her heart big Valentine winner
This work of art will always be appreciated. It's beauty and message exude love.It's a shame that the shipper packed it in electrostatically charged beads that shot out of the box and coated our clothes, floors, and everything else as each little ball repled the others spreading out through the house. It took us an hour to clean up the mess. I don't know why anyone would choose to use packing materials that were more difficult to clean up than any other peanuts I've ever experienced. It sure un-did some of the pleasure of giving and receiving this beautiful gift, when we had to spend the next hour gathering little balls that repel each other before our cats could choke on them or they could spread out further.
