A demilune shaped sideboard with marquetry Gardenia flowers and vines on a background of Ash burl, framed in solid Wenge. It is decorated with several blue Ulysses butterflies in jet onyx, reconstituted stone, and blue acrylester. The drawers and cabinet interior are quartersawn maple and the entire piece is finished in satin lacquer. Signed underside of top.
