Andrea Geer

"I strive to create garments that have a bold presence and a playful wearability "

Andrea Geer creates clothing with movement and sculptural details that delight the collectors of her pieces. Much of her time is spent experimenting with various knitting techniques and materials in order to create unique statement pieces that are flattering and enjoyable to wear.

These pieces are fashioned using vintage punchcard knitting machines and high quality yarns. Andrea designs the patterns, hand looms the pieces with the help of her assistants and also creates the one of a kind button and pin closures from polymer clay.

Andrea has an MFA in painting from Rochester Institute of Technology. Her passion to create has taken various forms from painting to fashion but her graphic and bold design is a consistent element.
