Using cast glass and bronze, Joseph and Georgia Pozycinski create sculptural work that is simple yet complex, familiar yet provocative, modern yet hinting of glimpses of an ancient culture. Working together in their Missouri studio, Georgia carves the small details of the sculptures using quiet simple tools while Joseph works with bigger strokes, wielding metal hammers and welders, running the furnaces and the hydraulic press.
