Artists Corey Silverman and Horace Marlowe created C&H Glassworks in the summer of 2007. With over twenty years of combined experience in creating beautiful art glass, the opportunity to work together presented itself and C&H Glassworks was born.
Corey Silverman was formally trained as a glass artist at Alfred University in NY. After graduating with his BFA, Silverman worked with several glass studios before opening his own studio near Denver. After much experimentation, Silverman found himself always coming back to the blown form. "I love the immediacy found in making a blown vessel."
Horace Marlowe is a studio trained glass artist with over a decade of experience. He began his glass career in 1996 creating glass sculpture in Orlando, Fl. Since then Marlowe has worked in some of the finest glass studios from Florida to Colorado. "My love of glass stems back to 1986 when I experienced it for the first time in colonial Williamsburg. I was amazed at the grace and fluidity of the glass blowers' movements. The heat, the fire, the glow of the glass, I knew then, I was hooked."
