Terri Stanley

"My recent work explores the harmony and balance of personal relationships. Often delightful and occasionally challenging, our emotional and physical interactions with the people in our lives continue to be a source of inspiration and an integrated part of my work."

Terri Stanley is an independent studio glass artist living and operating her studio in southern New Jersey. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Stanley started working with glass in 1986. Since 2003, her sole focus has been kiln-formed and cast glass.

She has been creating contemporary kiln-formed glass art since 2003. Her work often incorporates pattern bar inclusions and hand-ground textures.

Stanley has been working with glass since 1986. She has attended the Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, WA, and the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY, and has studied with such luminaries as Kirstie Rea, Mark Abidgaard, Martin Kremer, Leslie Rowe-Isrealson, and Patty Gray. Her work is exhibited on the East Coast and is held in private collections around the world.
