Original acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvas. Paint applied with palette knife, then scraped and some passages left as the artist surrounds it with organic shapes. Inspiration is from nature, but Guthrie lets the process guide her to completion and unity. Edges are painted a neutral color on all sides, reflecting a color within the work
