The Llama and the Lady
Acrylic Painting
Created by
Carole Guthrie
Occasionally Guthrie will see some images in her work, even though she has painted the canvas in an abstract personal style. The llama at the left and the figure of a lady became apparent. This wasn't planned and she didn't discover the images until she had completed the painting and varnished it. She uses scrapers, brushes, and rollers to get a dimension/depth in the piece. On gallery-wrapped canvas with painted sides.
