Art Glass Sculpture
Crescent Moon was created in the Schiuma Vetro technique, pioneered by the artist, in which individual blown bubbles are fused. Inspired by the sea, the technique name comes from the Italian for "glass seafoam." The individual bubbles are given further bubbly texture with the use of baking soda. The sculpture sits in a heavy steel stand that has been painted black. A lambs wool duster works the best for removing dust from between the bubbles. Limited edition of 10.
