Dream of Life

All the color in this fused-glass panel comes from layering cut glass with inclusions of silver foil and glass for moon, then firing the glass and silver "sandwich" in a kiln. This piece has been processed multiple times in a glass kiln, giving the work depth and dimension. Gestural lines in gold and black are fired into the glass surface to add detail and movement. The piece is displayed in a custom metal stand for table, window sill, or shelf display. The measurement of glass panel alone is 12.5" x 8.5".
