Art Glass Sculpture

Created by Bernstein Glass
This blown glass sculpture created by William Bernstein surprises with colorful facial features constructed from glass cane. This sophisticated, one-of-a-kind sculpture builds upon the same techniques used in William Bernstein's production line of whimsical glass goblets, tumblers, and pitchers.

William Bernstein's tribute to Harvey K. Littleton:

''When Harvey and Bess moved to our area in the mid-seventies, they really opened their doors to the nascent local glass community. Harvey invited many of us to learn about and use his studio, which was very well-equipped for grinding and polishing.

''I think aside from his generosity, several decades of teaching had left Harvey with a need to teach and lecture, and the artists in the local glass community became his de facto grad students.''
