Pharaoh

Art Glass Vessel

(ID: A24695)
This blown glass vessel is created using cane and murrini techniques in the Venetian style. The artists first create patterned glass rods, cut them into individual cross-sections and lay out a pattern. The pattern is fused together and blown into the final shape. It is then cut and polished.

    Comments about Pharaoh:

A wonderful piece of artful vase that is on the same par as Afro Celotto, Alberto Dona, and other murano masters who either worked with or inspired by the greatest master of thEm all; Lino Tagliapietra.

    Pharaoh invokes mysticism

    By

    from Jacksonville, Florida

    Comments about Pharaoh:

My Pharaoh sculpture is displayed on top of a standing 4' speaker as on a pedestal. What's great about it is that in a room with 12 foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, light flows through the sculpture in a way that highlights its beauty from a conceptual point of view. It is a body and soul experience occurring whenever one looks at it. That is beauty!
