Twisted Tree

All the color in this fused-glass panel comes from layering cut glass then firing in a glass kiln. Silver foil has been fired into the piece, representing the sparkle of falling leaves. This piece has been processed multiple times, giving the work depth and dimension. Gestural lines in gold and black are fired into the glass surface to add detail and movement.
