Wired Rain

Fired several times, this kiln-formed piece was first hand-painted with glass paints on the vanilla glass base and fired. Layered with more glass and fired again. This step repeated again, then more glass and wire was added and the piece fired a final time. Each time building upon the surface, lifting up from the flat sheet, creating 3-dimensional spaces within the glass.
