Bamboo

"Bamboo" was created with a Sony digital camera and a Lensbaby lens. The Lensbaby turns parts of the image into a surreal distortion to create an almost fantasy-like atmosphere. Specular highlights show up, and there's a soft focus to the image the lens creates that is just luscious. The artist prints on his own Canon iPF6400 printer and uses exclusively Hahnemuhle Bamboo paper. The surface of the print should never be touched if at all possible. This image is printed in an edition of 25.
