Life of Pi Redux

Black & White Photograph

Created by Geoffrey Agrons
From the artist's series "Hazardous Shorelines", a long exposure photograph made before dawn by the ruins of the 59th Street Fishing Pier in Ocean City, New Jersey. The palladium print on hand-coated Arches Platine paper, made from the digital negative of an original photograph. Limited to a series of 10 for each print size. Each print is signed and numbered, archivally matted to 16" x 20'', ready to frame, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Using a technique that has remained largely unchanged since the 19th century, this platinum-palladium print incorporates pure platinum and palladium crystals throughout the substance of the paper. This creates a soft, ethereal, almost three-dimensional effect, resulting in a truly stunning and captivating image.
