Round and Round the Mulberry Bush Oval

Slip made bowl. Designed from organic and inorganic drawings. The combination of nature's leaf and abstracted spirals. Inspired from the children's nursery rhyme. The outside background color represents the morning sky and the inside is the sunset warmth. The stylized pattern is created from the berries and the leaves of the mulberry bush. The artist used a large brush #10, to paint the background and then #3 & #1 brushes to create the details. The artist's signature and piece number is written under the bowl. This bowl stand on an oval foot. Finished bowl was fired at cone 05 at 1888 degrees.
