Coreopsis Jar

The inspiration for his jar came directly from the artist's garden where she grows the yellow Coreopsis flowers that encircle the jar's rim, while a gold winged dragonfly drifts above. The flora and fauna are individually fashioned from thin slabs of clay, carefully applied and glazed separately from the body and lid.
