Sunflower Platter

Ceramic Platter

Created by Angelia Hayes
This piece is hand-built of high fire stoneware clay, fired to 1800 degrees and then hand painted with Yellow and Brown Glazes that are food safe. It may be warmed in the oven and is dishwasher safe.

This serving platter is great for serving appetizers, fruit or cheese and crackers. It also is a great piece to display when not in use. This piece weighs 2 lb 1 oz, it is very lightweight yet durable.

Variations in color are normal with this glaze due to the fluctuation in gas and air in the kiln during the natural gas firing to almost 2400 degrees.

Comments about Sunflower Platter, Medium:

Was going to use this outside on patio table. It looked so pretty and yellow in the picture on the website. The actual color is more brown :(

Comments about Sunflower Platter, Medium:

Wonderful work of art. Great for display. I would recommend purchase of this Angela Hayes work.Work shipped with extra protective wrapping and would have had to fall from plane in flight to break.
