Ceramic Sculpture

A set of two house sculptures hand built from groggy red stoneware and glazed to recreate the weather-worn look of structures that time forgot. Each one has been layered with slips before its bisque firing, and glazes applied after bisque develop the surface over multiple firings. Each features a hole in the back that allows the piece to be hung or placed upon a shelf.
