One of a Kind
Waypoints reflect stops along life's journey, necessary pauses in becoming fully the self we choose or life has chosen for us. Each piece is hand formed from paper clay, beginning with a ball and adding cylinders until the desired form is created. Patterns and textures are given to the surface by hand, sometimes intentionally measured and drawn with architectural-like stripes. Waypoints have a matte finish and earth tone colors, which are created by under glazes, glazes, and paints. The finished piece has an aged archaeological appearance, and each has an individual personality in both form and surface. Waypoints are often displayed in groups, whether purchased as such or collected individually over time.
