Some objects seem to have a rhythm, others a motion. This one, though grounded and sturdy, seems to spin slowly, pulsing as it goes. There is a soundless whir to the wheel thrown base as if its heart were sending light all around. Up top, the unique quilted shade pairs together broad looping gestures against dot patterns and etched color forms. Between, you'll find a weighty cast found object worthy of being the true center of the universe. "Different Pulses" is alive and bright and waiting to be yours.
Collaborative artists James Aarons and Mark Taylor have created a collection of unique lamps under the moniker Imaginary Lamp Empire. Individual and special, the lamps grow from a conversation between the two artists where every detail, from plug to finial, is considered as an essential component of the final composition. Lamp shades are unique, UV coated sewn paper collages. Lamp bodies are original ceramic forms enhanced with found objects. Each lamp is a treasure with thoughtful details and surprises from any viewing angle. 75W LED bulb included.
