Jack Rabbit Tea

Wheel thrown porcelain teapot with hand carved teapot and hand modeled jack rabbit and leaf motifs. Airbrushed matte glazes fired to maturity in an oxidation kiln. Sculptural nonfunctional tea. Living out on her ranch the artist often encounters the pensive jack rabbit as she wanders about. Not sure which way to go, she often changes directions and just when the artist's dogs think she has gone in one direction she manages to fool them and go in the opposite way. She is wise in her innocence in the avoidance of the predator.
